challenging position in electronics components
Responsibilities:
- map sales opportunities, building and maintaining a database of contacts established, marketing initiatives and actions (brochures / samples etc.), ensuring a rigorous and systematic approach to follow-up and progress review
- maintain a schedule of first (prospecting), repeat (relationship development) and key account management meetings with target prospects and existing customers as required to exceed planned sales and growth targets
- take all necessary steps to ensure customer satisfaction
- communication and liaison with appropriate departments in the wider Group and, in a young Company
- regularly liaise with Laboratories to ensure the comprehensive range of free samples covering all products is maintained and to build strong relationships and brand awareness in the process
- maintain and develop personal skills and technical knowledge on the product range, applications and market developments up to date
- operate from a home-office base, with computer and telephony equipment supplied by the company; has access to the corporate applications dealing with market- and customer information, logistics, products and personal performances e.g. forecasting, prospecting, dealmaking, appointments, reporting etc
- frequent contact with the Sales Manager Benelux
- report according to a standard reporting format, which is partly automatically generated based on the data in the corporate applications
- will be supported upon request by the Export Department and the Product Managers of the respective products
Profile:
- bachelor degree in electronics
- relevant sales/technical experience; additional selling skills could be a compensation for a lack of or limited technical knowledge
- preferably a knowledge of the market
- highly motivated and ambitious sales professional above all possessing the drive, energy and tenacity to win
- a disciplined approach to work
- used to work independent; once established and trained, the candidate must be able to carry out the role with minimal supervision and direction to ensure the success of territorial expansion
- excellent communication skills
- is used to present him/herself in front of customers, partners and outside agencies; needs the ability to create his/her own strong vision for the market
- Dutch, French, English both written and orally; German is nice to have
